The RBA has two traineeship programs, which provide meaningful and fulfilling work experience alongside formal classroom-based learning.
The Business Traineeships and Information Technology (IT) Traineeships are offered under the Australian Apprenticeship Scheme and are designed to contribute to the development of a highly skilled Australian workforce.
Your professional skills in a corporate environment
The RBA are looking for enthusiastic, committed and well-presented candidates with good written and oral communication skills. Candidates need to be collaborative and have strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to take initiative and to learn tasks quickly. Most importantly, potential trainees will need to demonstrate an interest in the RBA and in developing professional skills in a corporate environment.
These positions are well suited to recent school leavers. Due to program requirements, candidates are ineligible if they have completed any previous qualification at a level higher than Certificate II.
Early applications to the RBA are valuable
Candidates are encouraged to apply early, because those submitted early will be processed first and may be eligible for early offers. Women are strongly urged to apply. Watch out for when traineeship applications open.
