Gender diversity is really important at Origin
Increasing gender diversity, especially in senior roles, is an ongoing priority at Origin and they've adopted a voluntary target to improve the rate of women appointed to senior roles by 15%, as well as to reduce turnover by 15%. The Board intends to be comprised of 40% women by 2020 and the Workplace Gender Equality Agency has accredited them as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality. Over 40% of their employees are female and they continue to deliver equal average pay for men and women at each job grade. Part-time work, job sharing, off-site work, carer’s leave, career breaks of 3-12 months and purchased leave are all on offer. They're also an accredited Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace.
