In this newly created role, that will give you the opportunity to make your own, you will be reporting to Tyro’s Head of Sales and working with an upbeat, passionate and successful team of Sales professionals.

As Head of Partnerships, will be responsible for the following:

Overall responsibility for the Tyro partnership strategy, framework and execution – across our new and existing software / point of sale partners; building new referral relationships to drive growth, and overseeing our reseller partners
Have oversight of all POS partners from a strategic perspective
Take end to end responsibility for a portfolio of existing partnerships.
Identify and build a new referral partner model for Tyro with relevant SME advisors / associated entities (e.g. accountants, brokers, solicitors, etc)
Run effective customer referral programs
Work closely with the team of Channel Managers who own the day to day relationships, supporting them with strategic direction and decision making and representing Tyro within senior partnership meetings.
Work alongside the Directors of Sales and Marketing to formulate and maintain the annual marketing activity plan and forecast. Work with the Business Development Managers and Account Managers to re forecast where required.
Work closely with the Business Development Managers, Channel Managers and Account Managers to identify ways to grow existing relationships with partners. Identify ways in which services can be more integrated into existing partnerships and generate sound reasons to develop conversations over time.
Where required, support the Director of Sales on adhoc projects that support the business. This could include the production of response to tenders, including leading or playing an active role in prospective partner presentations.
Required skills and experience:

Partnership Relationship Management (ideally Financial Services) with personal responsibility for budget delivery.
Extensive experience in B2B Sales in Financial Services or Technology
At least 7 years in the industry and 3+ years in a similar role
Have excellent people Management Skills.
Business development experience
Possess very strong financial and commercial acumen along with a detailed understanding of financial metrics
Have proven negotiation and influencing ability, with particular regard developing enthusiasm and interest amongst internal and external customers.
Possess a good understanding of the Financial Services marketplace and the roles played by product suppliers and corporate partners.
Good time management and organisational skills
The ability to liaise at a cross-functional level within an organisation.
Experience developing incentive / remuneration frameworks for partner networks and building / managing partnership frameworks
Demonstrable experience in driving sales growth via effective partnerships
