About the Graduate Position
This position provides an opportunity for a graduate accountant to join Australia’s central bank, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA). Commencing in February 2018, the role offers hands-on experience in management accounting and financial accounting in a collaborative environment and the opportunity to develop by completing a rotation-based graduate development program.
Accounting graduates in Finance Department are exposed to a range of operational, analytical and project-based assignments. In they interact with and partner with the business throughout, developing into trusted advisors. With the guidance of experienced staff they broaden their professional and technical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The two-year Graduate Development Program provides opportunities to apply knowledge acquired at university to challenging real-world situations and acquire key transferrable skills. A comprehensive mentoring, training and development program is also offered.
A degree in accounting, with studies in law or finance an advantage
Currently completing final year or studies or up to two years of relevant experience
Dedication to providing professional services in an internal corporate environment
Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent residency, or a visa providing work rights
