Growth Markets Digital Lead | Executive

The Growth Markets Digital Lead is accountable for driving the end-to-end Digital Portfolio (Digital Marketing, Digital Workplace, Digital Analytics) revenue growth and client delivery success in the Area. The goals and ambitions are more than $100M/yr and +20% YOY growth.

You are a recognized market maker and respected authority, and will serve as the "face" of Avanade & Digital both internally and externally.

Outside Avanade, you will establish the long-term technology strategy and solution development to bring the most impactful digital solutions to our clients in our growth market countries. You’ll regularly partner with Microsoft and Accenture to promote and grow our digital business and drive sales. You’ll partner with executive-level clients on major, ongoing organizational strategy initiatives with high visibility, to guide them through creation and implementation of effective strategies that incorporate existing and emerging digital capabilities across their business processes, customer and employee touch points.

Inside Avanade, you're responsible for successfully landing the global offering strategy in the Area, and for influencing and evolving the strategy and the plan to be competitive and relevant to Area market needs.

Given the strategic importance of Analytics in the digital portfolio and the Area priorities, your background must be based on a strong data and insights foundation. Ideally, this will range from modern data management, via platforms, advanced analytics & cognitive technologies, to outcome-based analytics business strategy. Experience in transforming loT data into insights which change business processes and creates digital workers is valued.

A background combining both global consultancies and digital agencies would be highly advantageous.

Day-to-day, you will:

Manage other senior leaders, the Regional MU Leads, as first among equals, to deliver to plan, together with Regional General Managers

Partner with peers in North America and Europe to establish the strategy and operations plans for our digital business, including offering investment decisions

Engage with client executives to discuss employee, technology and industry trends to help them define their digital vision, strategy, and roadmap

Leverage deep understanding of digital business, technology trends and their implications on various industries and functions
Strategically advise clients in driving defined programs and projects, including establishing project framework and processes while resolving issues and removing barriers to progress
Engage with client business stakeholders to understand short and long-term implications (people, process, systems, change) of proposed digital strategies
Travel as needed


About you

You are a leader – whether it’s driving your team to envision, shape, sell and deliver digital projects, directing clients through their digital transformations, or educating and motivating a sales team. You’re a visionary who understands how your team can best sell and deliver market-relevant work, with a broader vision of what our clients want in a digital partner. You’re the type that can’t be chained to a desk - you enjoy being with clients, asking the right questions to understand their needs and articulate our value proposition. As a seasoned digital workplace professional, you enjoy establishing, building and sustaining trust-based relationships with influential C-level executives at key clients.

In addition, your professional skillset likely includes:

Talent for consulting high value clients in their digital transformation journey
Successful project delivery across multiple work streams and geographically dispersed teams
Ability to set, track and meet financial revenue goals
People management responsibilities both directly and indirectly with globally dispersed teams
Desire to actively participate in the development of Avanade’s Global Digital community
A drive to continually seek and lead processes to improve digital performance and delivery.
You likely have a Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology-related field, preferably with an MBA, Master’s or advanced technical degree and around 10 years of related experience.
