Information Technology underpins the RBA's strategic responsibilities, and is the core provider of technology facilities, services and support to the organisation.
The Senior Systems Administrator role is responsible to run, support and maintain Bank End User Technology services across Unified Communications (Email, Collaboration and Messaging), Cloud (SaaS) and Mobile systems.
Lead the design and upgrade of Bank messaging systems as they move toward the cloud based service models.
Undertake problem diagnoses, resolution and escalated support.
Conduct support and proactive maintenance across technology lifecycle.
Enable provisioning, upgrading, capacity planning and performance testing of end user infrastructure.
Assist other IT Support teams including network, server and operations work.
Develop processes and automation with a goal of increasing efficiency and ITIL maturity.
Assist with the collection of, reporting and interpretation of performance monitoring data, and related activities such as capacity planning.
As directed, lead small project teams.
To succeed in this role you must have:
Industry accreditations (ITIL, Microsoft) that have been maintained to current levels, or working towards within the next 12 months.
Advanced knowledge of messaging systems including Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business.
Strong understanding of mobile device management technologies.
Strong working knowledge of core Windows services (Active Directory).
The following experience would be very beneficial to your success:
Degree qualification relevant to the Bank or IT industry.
Training and experience in cloud messaging systems including Office 365, InTune and Unified Communications (Skype Online).
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell).

The role will be offered under a one year employment arrangement initially with scope to be offered further employment.
