Senior Consultant, HR Operation
As an HR Operations Senior Consultant, you will design and drive effective implementation of strategic HR programs and projects. You will provide operational support and leadership to ensure that employees are integrated, informed, and enabled. Ultimately, you will apply your advanced HR knowledge and skills to implement and manage Avanade people programs.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Day-to-day you will:
Act as a point of contact within and outside team/project to ensure connection, integration of team members, and timely response to requests
Orchestrate timely delivery across a complex, global organizational structure
Manage project dependencies, deliverable completion, milestone compliance, and cost/budget
Provide coordination and communication with appropriate teams to ensure initiatives meet schedule, budget, and quality commitments
Track, measure, report, and communicate project costs, performance issues, and risks
Minimize exposure to project risks/issues by developing mitigation plans and escalating critical risks and issues that cannot be resolved
Produce and review project status reports and action item logs to identify issues; address risks and concerns directly with project stakeholders or action item assignees, or raise them to the attention of senior management for further direction.
Provide continuous improvement to processes, tools, metrics, and training based on ongoing experience, process metrics, and feedback from other stakeholders, to drive further efficiencies in the organization
Support the standard management reporting processes and metrics by creating templates, role aids, and other materials and produce reporting packages as required
Manage the goals, objectives, overall performance, and budget of assigned projects and teams
Take on critical roles within HR as needed

Preferred Education Background:
You likely possess a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, another related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Years of Work Experience:
You likely have 3 to 5+ years of HR professional experience.
Scope of Work:
Nature of Work: Executes project/program plans and processes in alignment with established operational objectives.
Scope of Work: Work must be coordinated across different workstreams, processes, or projects.
Complexity: Complex problems that can span across work domains requiring considerable judgement of contextual factors.
Discretion: Wide latitude in approach to work within established work plans.
Organizational Impact: Work efforts have an immediate impact on Avanade and/or client operations. If client-facing, should start to support client relationship and sales outcomes.
Supervision Received: Works under general guidance and direction, but fully independent in own work with latitude for autonomous decision-making related to work process.
Supervision Provided: Supports more junior colleagues on work efforts, with routine supervision of work efforts. May serve as Career Advisor.
Knowledge Applied: Applies advanced knowledge of a learned occupation / discipline and basic knowledge of business operations.
