Salary Grade 11/12 maximum salary package up to $156,294. Package includes salary $121,917 – $140,996], employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Job Status: Ongoing under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.

Revenue NSW is a division within the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation which is part of the Treasury and Finance Cluster.

Revenue NSW is responsible for some of the most fundamental and important functions of government. It collects tax and other revenue that funds the services which people want and expect government to provide. It administers the payment of grants and benefits and helps reconnect citizens to their unclaimed money. It also makes sure people can pay and resolve fines and charges as easily as possible so they comply with their obligations under the law.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Analytics and be responsible for
Leading the team responsible for the collection and analysis of data using appropriate methodologies and;
Providing technical leadership in statistical analysis to address business initiatives requiring analysis of multiple and diverse information including dashboarding and reporting
Provide input into working parties and committees, regarding possible implications for information systems and the collection, analysis and reporting of related corporate information
Provide high quality revenue advice, direction and forecasts to the Executive and external agencies to support the State budget process and in developing research relating to policy reform
Maintain knowledge of current developments and application of analytics and statistical analysis and champion continuous improvement in analytics
Provide Executive with value added analysis and high quality information that informs the formulation of the business’s strategic direction
Develop Key Performance Indicators and business metrics that accurately evaluate business
performance or the success of a particular activity in which its engaged
Manage client relationships with emphasis on managing the key relations with external agencies.

Demonstrated client relationship building and;
Technical knowledge and business acumen that connects technical and business issues.
