The Partner Support Team is responsible for the support of third-parties integrating their software with different parts of Tyro’s payments platform. This team’s major area of focus is supporting POS Partners through their integration and certification activities, and also in the identification and resolution of POS integration issues in the field. As additional integration points into the Tyro platform are identified and opened up, the Partner Support Team's scope of responsibilities may also be expanded to encompass these new integration points where it makes sense to do so.
The Integration Engineer’s responsibilities include:
·Working together with third-party software vendors to assist them in integrating with Tyro's payments platform
·Working with third-party software vendors to identify, investigate and resolve platform integration issues encountered in the field
·Maintain and build relationships with POS Partners to communicate new features, bug fixes and feedback
·Working with testers to improve the certification test suite
·Writing and maintaining a suite of prototype implementations in a variety of programming languages for third party software vendors
·Enhancing documentation and building up a platform integration knowledge base
·Maintain and administer a Tyro test environment (shared responsibility with other team members)
·Responsible for maintaining and improving technical outcomes for Tyro's software integration partners
What we're looking for:
·Someone with the ability to learn technical concepts quickly
·Software development experience in different programming languages (Java, .NET, C, C++)
·A helpful and positive attitude
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
