Executive Manager Planning Reporting SRM and Governance

This is an exciting new opportunity to make your mark as an Executive Manager – Planning, Reporting & Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) within the Procurement Team. You will be able to lead, develop and execute the plan to ensure the smooth running of Procurement Planning, Reporting & SRM areas and therefore the broader Procurement team. The role will also have a heavy emphasis on strategy development as well as team management and will be a key member of the senior leadership team with fantastic opportunities for career development and growth.
A bit about your role
Reporting to the General Manager, Procurement Operations and Performance, this role will require an intimate understanding of our customers’ business requirements. While working closely with the Procurement Portfolio GMs and Business GMs to develop and deliver strategies, plans and initiatives for their respective portfolios, you will also have responsibility for driving the smooth operations of the Planning, Reporting & SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) function. You will have the ability to work independently and manage, influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders through a skilful mix of communication, diplomacy and advocacy. This will be a great role for you to display your ability to proactively manage continuous improvement in processes and relationships with customers and suppliers. Key requirements include:
Driving continuous improvement across the Strategic Planning process including the Integrated Procurement Plan (IPP) and interlock to IOP, annual Target Operating Plan (TOP), Category Planning as well Value Tracker
Enhancing the Procurement reporting model to support analysis of key Procurement metrics that matter, including but not limited to spend under management, contract spend and broader spend visibility
Enhancing the SRM Framework to derive value from supplier relationships including supplier segmentation, Voice of Supplier/Voice of Business surveys, day to day cadence and user support including the required internal and external relationships and the associated SLAs
Planning and executing nbn’s annual Supplier Summit event with strategic suppliers, nbn ExCo members and SRM owners.
A bit about you
Essential to your success in this role will be your understanding of Procurement principles, practices and theories and experience working in a senior Procurement role. You will have previous experience in team management and the ability to deliver high quality outputs against demanding and tight timeframes. Ideally, you are brilliant at communication with an exceptional capability in being able to communicate quantitative information. You must have a passion for innovation, personal drive, ambition, tenacity in working with numerous internal and external stakeholders and bring a strongly collaborative approach to this broad role.
