Salary Grade 5/6 maximum salary package up to $99,522. Package includes salary [$81,369 - $89,781] and employer’s contribution to superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.

Job Status Ongoing under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 with hours of operation between between 6am and 10 pm.

Revenue NSW (RNSW) is a division within the NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation. As NSW's principal revenue agency, RNSW administers State taxation and revenue, manages fines and administers grants and subsidies for the people of NSW.

Strategy & Business Performance is a diverse and dynamic business unit that provides expert advice and specialist services to shape the future direction of RNSW. We are integral to transforming our customer experience through strategy development and implementation, Process Excellence, and customer insight and collaboration. We are key partners of our business with functions including revenue management, analytics, performance reporting, risk management, governance, ministerial and media enquiries, facilities management and HR services.

RNSW has an opening for an experienced Executive Assistant, who can provide high-level executive support, project and administrative support and advise to the Executive Director, Strategy & Business Performance in order to support the informed decision making and overall leadership and management of the business unit.

This is a varied role with responsibilities that include diary management, meeting coordination, preparation of agendas, minute taking, managing mail and correspondence, liaising with executives across the business and proactively respond to requests.

Key to your success in this role, you will be exceptionally organised and enjoy working with multiple, conflicting priorities and a variety of personalities. You will need to be a confident communicator that enjoys liaising with senior people and delivering positive outcomes. Additionally discretion, confidentiality and sound judgement are essential as you will be appropriately handling contentious and sensitive matters.

You will have advanced Microsoft Office skills, strong attention to detail and a highly organised approach. Someone that has previous experience within a similar role who could add value to this team from day 1.

Key accountabilities
Provide high-level executive and administrative support.
Ensure that the Executive Director is kept fully informed of critical matters affecting the business by providing timely, reliable advice on strategic, sensitive or complex issues across all business functions.
Facilitate and screen the efficient flow of information to and from the Executive Director by exercising discretion, initiative and confidentiality in responding to and referring matters to and on behalf of the Executive Director.
Manage complex and changing diaries, including scheduling, negotiating appointments and meetings and organising associated and supporting documentation.
Develop appropriate procedures and controls to assist the Executive Director to monitor and manage the Division’s activities.
Manage internal communication on behalf of the Executive Director including preparation of correspondence, briefing packs, business unit communication, reports and papers.
Coordinate effective meetings by organising and collating meeting agendas, providing confidential minute taking and distribution and coordinating follow up actions. This includes room bookings and equipment set up such as teleconferencing, data projector and refreshments.
Maintain the HR and/or people related administration and processes.
Maintain systems for recording and storing information.
Supervise Administration Officer.
Manage travel arrangements.
