Project Governance and Coordination Manager
As the Project Governance & Coordination Manager you will be the key function within the Business Operations stream of Customer Service & Assurance (CS&A), and accountable for governing the portfolio of programs/ projects in the business. Your role requires superior stakeholder engagement, influencing skills and the ability to analyse business needs, identify opportunities and articulate solutions.
This will include taking an end-to-end view of cross-functional processes, identify and drive new and improved operational process, establish quality gates into the business and working closely with a broad range of individuals and teams across the organisation.
Please note, this is a 24 month fixed term position.
A bit about your role:
In your position you will responsible for the overall project management function, providing leadership, coordination and management of the PMO processes and functions. The role serves as a conduit for communication between project managers and IT executives who make the strategic decisions for those projects
You will be responsible for:
Establishing, planning and managing the portfolio governance framework for the receipt of initiative requests requiring capex and/or project resources
Managing all initiative requests impacting CS&A, assisting with the development of business cases and navigation of the initiation process
Managing project methodology, project metrics and risk management, and project specialists
Responsible for CS&A’s “single source of truth” program database, including the tracking and reporting of status initiatives
Managing the consolidated project resources plan and risk profile for the portfolio of projects and operations
A bit about you:
As an experienced Project Governance and Coordination Manager, you will have demonstrated experience in successfully implementing a governance framework across a large portfolio of programs within a complex business operations environment. In addition, you have operated at a strategic level, influencing, developing and executing strategy.
Your resume may demonstrate:
Project management certification preferably with an Agile component
Actively champion PMO best practices to drive continuous improvement across project planning, execution, and change management.
Effectively communicate and support the adoption of new processes and tools within the business
Demonstrated ability to understand and analyse key operational insights, impact studies and cost/benefits
